Great set up for two families. This home offers a reverse floor plan with a very large open concept living area with a 4 in 1 kids game table, large comfy sectional sofa to relax on after a long day at the beach. This second floor living space opens up to a spacious deck with a natural gas BBQ and seating for 8. . Great for family BBQ's, games or just hanging out with friends and family. The three bedrooms are located downstairs with a full bath. The first room has a queen bed, 2nd room: offers a queen and a set of twin bunks, 3rd room offers a queen bed as well as a daybed with trundle. The second bath is located upstairs off the living area. Walking distance to coffee, deli, bistro and restaurants.

  This house was an absolute treasure to stay in. One thing I will immediately note is that, in the bedrooms (which are downstairs), you can absolutely hear people walking around upstairs and in the room I stayed in with my boyfriend (the room at the front of the house, by the front door) you can hear the sliding glass door above opening. However, it didn't matter much for us because we all tended to sleep around the same time or were tired enough from all the activities we got to do all day to not have it bother us. The couch in the lounge was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of space, however the stove was an older style of electric range and did not conduct heat in a way we were fully familiar with (I'm a gas stove user) so cooking was tricky but not impossible. There was plenty of silverware available as well.
  
  As for location, the house itself is about two or three blocks away from the beach, a short drive (uphill) from a Safeway, Rite Aid, and various other types of shops and food places, and depending on traffic it's a short drive to Downtown Santa Cruz as well. The location is perfect for people who enjoy short walking trails, and my friends and I ended up spending much of our time walking along the pathway and running along the beach.
  
  Overall, I'm very glad we ended up staying here! I hope we get to stay again soon.
