Perfect location for those who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Beach Dr, but still be steps to the sand. Walk to Venus Restaurant & Bistro , Pixie Deli for snacks, meals and drinks. Centrally located between Santa Cruz and Monterey with easy highway access. Ride bikes and walk along the beach trails or mountain bike & Hike at Nisene Marks park, less than a mile away. So many things to see and do on the Monterey Bay.
There is one bedroom and bath on the entry level, The living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath as well as the balcony are on the second level. The bonus loft and deck are on the third level with a sofa sleeper. Wood burning fireplace in living room. Laundry room is located off the carport.

  We chose this house for a beach vacation with our two grandkids. The house was well maintained, with comfortable furniture and beds, an updated kitchen and a gas bbq on the deck, and lovely vista ocean view. The only drawback was there is no place for 4 to eat inside, but the teak table and chairs outside were nice when the fog permitted. A short walk to the beach from the house, with an outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Cheshire Rio staff were a pleasure to deal with.

  Overall, a really fantastic stay! The beds, sheets, pillows - all very comfortable. They allowed us to check in a bit early because we had some things to do, which was so appreciated. It’s a new rental- so a few things to note- there is a keurig machine so bring k cups for coffee. It was very windy so the heat lamp, cushions, umbrellas all blew over on patios. Water heater is a little touchy as in the shower will get hot and cold with flushes etc. the blinds are not sure sturdy so use with caution.
  Kitchen had a ton of cooking supplies except casserole dishes and Tupperware so bring that if you need them. There’s a few spices already in the cabinet. There is beach items like toys, a chair, boogie boards bbut no life jackets for littles so bring with! Location cannot be beat. There is a lot of construction around but it wasn’t noisy and they were very respectful. Lots of games there as well.
