Enjoy relaxing or taking long walks along one of the largest beaches in Santa Cruz County. The home had recently been renovated to express the beach vibes this county is known for! This beach front, sand side home boast a large second floor deck, bright open concept living space as well as three bedrooms and three baths. First floor has living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bath with stall shower. Second floor has two ocean view bedroom with direct access to the large deck and California king beds, one room has an attached bath. The third room has a queen size bed and faces the street. This owner also offers 2 twin cots, should you need extra sleeping space for children. Less than a two min walk to Cafe Rio, Pixie Deli, Rio Market and Bistro Cafe. About one mile from major shopping centers. There is NO DIRECT ACCESS TO THE BEACH. You must go out the front door and walk along the sidewalk to the beach.

  We have stayed in many places on Beach Dr over the years. This was one of our favorites. Typically we avoid The Island during the summer because of the limited parking, but in the winter it's no problem.
  This is a very comfortable home. We all loved the memory foam beds. Very comfortable living room and plenty of dining seating. The kitchen is a little dated but very well stocked and everything worked perfectly. Upstairs (bedrooms) were a little chilly the first night until the house warmed up, but each room has space heaters. We did have a problem with the breaker popping when more than one space heater was on, but that was only the first night. My 2 year old granddaughter was with us and nap time was a bit challenging without blackout shades. It would also be nice to have the dining room and living room lights on separate circuits so you could have one set of lights on without the other having to be on. Obviously these issues are all pretty minor as compared to the pluses of this home. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of locations as we were with our choice of Cheshire Rio. They are always immediately on top of any issue that may arise. This is why I choose to rent from them over going Airbnb or Vrbo.

  Loved 214 Beach Drive! Very comfortable for my family (adult kids) to celebrate one of my big Birthdays! Very roomy and cozy, all at same time!Loved the fireplace.   3rd Summer in a row at 214 Beach Drive. It works perfectly for our small family. Everything is always ready and there for us. Super clean and comfy. 2 Chairs from the Bistro Table on patio were missing. Maybe from the storm. They were REALLY MISSED! As it only left us 2 chairs at that table for our family of 6. We SOOOOO hope they are replaced for 2024. Thank you!!!

  This is the second year we have rented 214 Beach Dr for our family reunion. My sisters and their family rent different units along the Island. Our Unit was nicely furnished with all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay at the beach. Beach towels, Beach chairs and many extras for the water fun. Very much appreciated. Beds are comfy and lines are amazing. So Perfect!

  This rental was clean and fresh and the perfect accommodations for our family. It was well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen and on the beach. The gas firepit was enjoyed nightly. If traveling with a small child baby gates would be nice. We ended up buying one while we were there. We would love to stay here again.

  We had an absolute blast!!! Such a great home! It was so easy to be in, so easy to clean, easy to use TV’s, great living space and bed rooms. Felt like home! Was just wonderful! Master bed was a very firm for me but all the other beds were great. Nice clean bedding, crisp and white! Loved that there was an ice maker, too! Wish I was there right now!!!
