Mon-Mon rental during summer & Thanksgiving. 3 Night Minimum during off-season.
5 bedrooms, 4 baths directly on beach with large deck, lots of privacy. Single story with atrium. Lovely big house directly on the sand HOUSE IS UNDER SAME ROOF LINE BUT WITH BEDROOM ENTRANCES SEPARATE. Walk thru atrium to living room, kitchen, dining and one small bedroom and bath. Opposite side of atrium contains a family room and two full bedrooms one with a king bed and one with a queen and bathroom. To the left of the Living room but must be entered into from the atrium (not directly from the living area is the Master bedroom with it’s own bath, King size bed and views of the ocean. Fifth bedroom has separate entrance and bath and Cal king. Deck is also off the atrium.

  Our family stay gets better each year, since our first visit in 2015. The property is beautifully appointed, meticulously maintained, welcoming and comfortable. Its location right on the sand is perfect for swimming, fishing, long beach walks and bonfires for smores and singing camp songs. The home is equipped with everything we could need - from the kitchen to the barbecue to the beach toys to the more-than-ample deck furniture, enabling us to dine in or outside. The bedrooms are separated from the main living space, affording our family members privacy, when they desire it. We wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous property!

  This is our second year staying in this rental. The home is beautiful and is stocked with almost everything you could need. Everything is clean, updated, and nicely decorated. The views are beyond compare. Our family has had the most wonderful time here. The layout is perfect for our family. It is usually me and my husband and our two children with their own families and it couldn't work better. We will hopefully be rolling over our deposit for years to come.   551 Beach Drive is a great beach house. The home and deck have been recently fully upgraded. The home is well stocked with all that you need for a family beach outing. The beach area is far enough away from the main beach parking that very few people trek to the area, so we found the beach quite private throughout our full week stay.
  
  The home design is unique in that all bedrooms (except one) connect via an open air atrium. Those three bedroom complexes (2 are 1 bedroom with bath and 1 with 2 bedrooms, bath and living room) all open to the atrium that then connects to the main complex (kitchen, dining, living room, a bedroom and bathroom.). The plus is privacy the negative is in the fall and winter it could make you want to bundle up to go from main area to your room. Would be a bummer if its raining. But for our family, in June, it was no big deal and actually a plus for privacy.
  
  We highly recommend this home - it will exceed your expectations as it did ours.

  After missing out on renting this property last year, due to COVID, we were thrilled to return this year, as were our children and grandchildren. The property was just as we remembered it - immaculate, with a very well-stocked kitchen, televisions in most rooms, WiFi, sand and surf toys and plenty of room for everyone in a layout that provides privacy when needed. The location of this property, right on the sand, gave us access to the beach, where we could surf, boogie board, swim, fish, enjoy evening bonfires with s’mores and take long walks. When needed, the manager provided excellent customer service that was responsive, professional and thorough.

  We used to stay in Aptos years ago but hadn't been in a long time. This was our first time at this particular rental and we could not have been happier. We had our two older sons and their families and our daughter and there was plenty of room and everything (appliances, furniture, decor) was state of the art and so pleasant. We all had such a wonderful time and the kids loved being able to step off the deck and onto the beach. Gorgeous views and simply couldn't have been a better experience. We will be back next year for sure!! Only complaint, and this was a small one, was the smoke detectors went off twice in the early morning. But maintenance came quickly and were very responsive.
