Views from all the common areas as well as the master bedroom. Light and airy with wood beam ceilings, the living area has an open concept with the kitchen and dining room. Great house for families with small children or anyone who is walking impaired. Kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated, as well as the ocean view windows and sliders. This is a great home that is well maintained and is in a perfect location.

  This was a return stay at the residence. Improvements were made post tragic weather this past winter. We appreciated the repairs. The home is comfy and is not always quiet depending on the time of year, located really close to the parking lot near the locked gate.

  Another nice stay at a Cheshire rental. This was our first time coming to this home and we found it quite quaint and comfortable. If you are looking forward to cooking some fancy meals you may want to pack some of your favorite kitchening utensils and serving dishes. But it was well equipped for our needs and very clean. TV is a smart TV which is nice. And the direct access to the private beach was wonderful. Look forward to our next stay!

  Our first time staying at 529 Beach Drive was a great experience - the one story house that was right on the beach was a great fit for our family of 8. The property was clean and well-maintained. We ate at several restaurants in Aptos, Soquel and Santa Cruz and barbecued on the deck. The description of the property on the website was accurate. The staff at Cheshire was friendly and easy to work with. We rolled the reservation over for Thanksgiving 2024 without hesitation.

  Our small family rented this home in Sept. There is a great room connected to the kitchen with an ocean view that was wonderful. We were able to all fit comfortably and the outside deck is spacious too. The owner is conscientious regarding the practical needs for herself and others. We are hoping to return if our budget allows.

  Overall I would say just it was ok. Good location but worn out.
  
  The TV did not have any local channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, etc.). We bought food for a BBQ and then (1) there was no gas for the BBQ, and then (2) when we got gas, the BBQ did not work anyway. Then no broiler pan in the kitchen to at least broil the food. Took me an hour and a half to put together the new BBQ I got from Cheshire.
  
  Furniture/beds were old. 3 Guest Bedrooms sharing one bathroom was very uncomfortable. Railings down to beach were falling apart.
  
  Kitchen was well stocked and looked to be recently updated.

  Great place. Has large patio for corn hole. Being on the beach the kids can play near the house on the sand. The beds are comfortable and the house is clean.2
