Take in sweeping Monterey Bay views from this spectacular newer built coastal home perched at the cliff’s edge. Featuring one bedroom plus a bonus room, an open floor plan, and a wraparound deck with a hot tub, this beautiful retreat invites you to slow down and enjoy the coast.

Large windows frame the ocean and fill the living spaces with natural light. The open living, dining, and kitchen areas make it easy to spend time together, whether you’re preparing a leisurely breakfast, sharing dinner, or relaxing with the bay as your backdrop.

The entry level has an open living room, dining room, kitchen, one and half bath as well as a queen room with ocean view and deck access. There is also an alcove that holds a daybed with a trundle for extra sleeping in the living space. There is a gas fireplace for those chilly nights to enjoy in the home.

Step onto the wraparound deck for fresh ocean air and panoramic views of the shoreline. Start your morning with coffee overlooking the water watching the sea life swim by, spend an afternoon watching the changing colors of the bay, and finish the day with a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

The upstairs primary bedroom offers a restful place to recharge, with a Queen bed as well as a beautiful bathroom including a soaking tub, separate walk in shower, TV and private balcony overlooking the bay. There is also a desk for those who must work while on vacation.

The bonus room, located downstairs provides additional space to spread out and offers a Queen bed and access to the ocean view balcony, as well as a TV for your enjpyment.

Downstais bathroom offers a beautifully finished bathroom with a luxurious touch, including a freestanding soaking tub and a spacious glass-enclosed shower.

In addition this home also offers a natural gas BBQ.

  Perfect anniversary getaway. Since we have stayed in the neighborhood several times in the past, we mostly knew what to expect. Always fun to watch the dolphins and seals, and sleep to the sound of the ocean. The place was everything we had been looking forward to. The only minor disappointment was the shower water pressure, but that would never keep us from returning. Cheshire Rio staff were all super friendly and accommodating through the whole experience.

  We had an incredible four days at Sunset State Beach! The weather was perfect, and we were just steps from the sand. The beach house was beautiful, inside and out. We spent time in the hot tub overlooking the beach. We saw dolphins and seals swimming in the waves, as well as gorgeous sunsets. We can’t wait to go back again.

  This home and location are PERFECT! Modern, stylish and very comfortable and inviting. You walk in to a WOW view, windows span the entire back, west wall. Two separate bedroom and bathrooms are perfect for privacy; the 1/2 bath on the main floor ensures whoever sleeps down stairs has the privacy of their own bathroom. Kitchen is beautiful with ocean views as you cook or do dishes. We will be back next year, again.

  This is our “go to” rental house in Watsonville. Great layout for 2 couples to share. Best view! Could use some minor upgrades like: at least one king size bed, newer BBQ, repair the stove so the burners auto light w-o having to use a lighter, supply a DVD player, fresh paint on the walls (it’s getting pretty grubby), an umbrella for the beach, and communal laundry detergent but otherwise this is a fantastic rental home.
