Located across the street from Rio Del Mar Beach, enjoy long walks, and beautiful sunsets along the largest beach in Santa Cruz County. Walk to restaurants, delis and cafés. The town of Aptos is located about one mile away, and offers all the convenience’s you could need.

This recently refurbished three story home offers great space for multiple families. Open living, kitchen and dining space on the second floor, as well as laundry room half bath and large back deck with a gas barbecue. The first floor offers two bedrooms, one with two twins and the other with two twins and trundles, also one full bath with a stall shower. The third floor offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the master bedroom having a king bed, ocean view balcony, wood burning fireplace and private bath. The other two rooms offer a king bed and queen bed, also an additional bathroom. This home offers ample space and parking in a very convenient location with amazing views.   This was a great home for a big family reunion. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and an extremely well-stocked kitchen. Only minor issue is with their plumbing. Water pressure in the shower is very weak and several toilets and shower heads had the tendency to run. We specifically called about 1 showerhead after we noticed it was a problem the second day. We were asked if it bothered us, which it didn’t, substantially, so were told it would be addressed when we left. It’s obvious to me why there are so many signs about running water given the issues we encountered. But that was a minor distraction from an otherwise very nice home. Hope to stay there next summer (different time of the year)!

  There is just something spectacular about hearing and seeing the ocean waves...a sense of peace and tranquillity. Our family vacation was spent enjoying all of that and so much more! We had whales breaching, dolphins and seals swimming close to shore and enjoyed many afternoons on the beach.

  We had the best time at this rental. it was clean and had everything you need for a great stay by the beach. Two things to note: firstly we had hoped to BBQ with friends during our stay however the BBQ is old and does not look functional; second, it was pretty difficult to work from here the WiFi really needs updating. Would definitely stay here again.

  As you will see from my comments, our stay was perfect! Recently, the only problem I have had is the price increase and the change in high season versus off-season rates. ( including Sept in high season) I am feeling as though your middle class customers are getting out priced.

  House is great location. We love it. It does appear that it could use some update to the queen bed. It is sagging to the right. We also found 2 shirts between the bed and the sheets in the downstairs room and some hair left in one of the bathroom drains. Over all a great time and experience just a little tlc care on cleaning and beds is all. Will defiantly be back again going on year 36 plus with Cheshire Rio

  This property if beautiful and the location on Beach Drive can't be beat. It was clean and we loved that there was parking available at the house, as it can be difficult to find on the beach occasionally. When we arrived, we noticed several aspects of the home that needed repair (hinges/cabinets loose/off the hinges, broken trash compactor, drawers out of alignment/difficult to access). When we called Cheshire Rio, they knew about some of these issues already, but seemed not to have any plan to correct them. Overall, their customer service was very casual and a bit unprofessional, like when I walked in to drop off the key and not one person in the office was wearing a a mask, and they didn't try to find one after my arrival. The home is beautiful and in a great location, though the management could use some upkeep.

  Overall, a great experience. 10 people fit comfortably in this house. Due to COVID restrictions, many of the restaurants did not offer in-house dining, and the Boardwalk was mostly closed. However, the easy access to the beach across the street was the highlight for our family.
