Enjoy life at one of best beaches in Santa Cruz County. This Rio del Mar beach house is located across from the beach. Spacious 4 bedroom 2 bath house with a large double garage. Open concept living room, dining and kitchen all upstairs with amazing view and access to ocean front deck. First floor offers 2 bedrooms, 1 queen and the second room offers a twin over full bunk and a twin bunk, as well as a full bath with walk in shower. Second floor has large open living room, full bath with tub/shower and 2 bedrooms, one has a king and the other with 2 twins. This home also offers a second refrigerator, washer/dryer, beach gear and plenty of parking. Centrally located to enjoy all Monterey Bay has to offer. Enjoy a day at the beach, or take a hike at Nicene Marks redwood park, less than a mile away. Pets welcome with additional pet fee, must be under 50 lbs.

  All amenities provided making it a home that is welcoming for a beach vacay. Perfect views and steps from the beach which makes it convenient if you’re planning a beach day. There is a couple updates that would make this the perfect place, however, it’s easy to forget once you sit out in the balcony and stare at the views.

  This rental was perfect for our family. It's in a great location, clean and really has everything you need. We were celebrating my daughter and son-in-laws 35th birthday. We had family in this house and the house connected to it so we could celebrate with fun in the SUN & SAND. Could use some updating like its twin next door but we loved our time there and would rent again.

  This property location is ideal. The house is very dated and lists new couch, which may have been new 10 years ago, but well lived in. Same for carpeting. Plenty of beds and linens provided. Best thing about this space is that you walk across the street to the beach!

  We loved this beach house. It is roomy, not fancy but very comfortable, close to Santa Cruz & Monterey. The beach access was great, we spent a lot of time on the beach. The parking was awesome. We will definitely come back, we had a wonderful family vacation!

  This is our second or third time staying in this unit. The features I like best is that it has ample parking, good sized bedrooms, hall bathrooms (with a full house, master baths are less functional), extra frig, good view and easy access to the beach. The unit is well furnished but rather dated. We did have a plumbing issue but it was quickly addressed by Cheshire Rio. No frills, but quite comfortable. We did have some cleaning issues as one of the bedrooms was not completely cleaned. I should note this was the first time we've ever had an issue like this while renting from Cheshire Rio. Personally, I prefer renting from a local property management such as Cheshire Rio because when there is an issue it is handled quickly.

  It has been a family tradition for the last several years for our families go to 303 Beech St. in Aptos. One cannot beat the location and the convenience of where this home is located. It is almost like having a private beach at your doorstep and so easy to watch the kids on the beach from the balcony. The home easily accommodates 10 to 12 people. It is kid friendly and the bunk room on the first floor with two sets of bunkbeds has been a grandkid’s family favorite. The big living room with a huge sectional sofa is a perfect fit for a big family. The place is always very clean and all of the inequities that you need for cooking are there for you . The staff at Cheshire Rio go out of their way to make sure that your state is excellent in providing information about the area and available for any concerns.

  this house size, location and parking worked perfectly for celebrating my wife's birthday. we brought food to cook for dinner and walked down the street every morning for breakfast and lunch. we never got in our car which made the trip more relaxing. keep in mind, that this is an older house with finishes that are at the end of there lifespan but everything is useable and wedid not have any issue with this great house.. i am an architect and general contractor . this would be a super fun project to slightly reinvent and remodel. stay inspired ! www.spirearchitecture.build

  We were very happy to find a last minute place on Beach Drive. The house is large and accommodates three families. The bunk beds were great for the kids. The interior needs to be updated. The kitchen tiles are cracked and a corner piece fell off when I bumped into it. The sectional in the living room did not look clean and we purchased blankets to cover it during our stay. The house would be a real gem if it were updated.

  I was told prior to renting that there were no updates on the property. That being said, as soon as we walked in the tile on kitchen counter was brushed and a piece fell off. One of the stove tops didn’t work. Typically, rentals are stacked with cabinets of cooking supplies. There was bare minimum and super poor quality. Most cooking utensils looked like they were purchased from the dollar tree about 5 years ago. A couple of the mattresses were in poor quality, and definitely needed replacing. We knew what we were getting HOWEVER some of the basic (inexpensive) items should be kept up to date. The overall quality of the house was okay and the location is perfect. If it were in a different location, my family would definitely not return.
