This home offers 2 full ocean view bedrooms with king beds. Each room features large windows with uninterrupted ocean views, lots of storage and TV's for your private viewing needs. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Capitola by the Sea just a 15 minute drive. Depending on the time of year you are visiting please be aware there is no guaranteed parking, the summer can be very busy and day visitors will park on Beach Drive and leave when the sun goes down.   Aptos has been a summer vacation spot for our family for several summers now and this was by far the most relaxing. Being right on the beach with crashing waves lolling you to sleep at night was just the start. The house had plenty of space for our two families and was clean with lots of towels. The kids loved being able to run out to the beach whenever they wanted and it was great that we could sit on the patio while we watched them. It's close to hiking and the Santa Cruz boardwalk, and only a half hour drive to Monterey Bay Aquarium. We love the nearby restaurants like Aptos BBQ with their live music, and sitting on the patio at Red Apple Cafe. Cheshire's check in and out process is a breeze. We couldn't have asked for a better location and can't wait to go back next year.

  We had a great time! The house was clean, didn't need much, however, I would recommend bringing your own dog fence to avoid using a leash for your stay. I ordered to of the XL dog fences (16') from Petco; picked up some 5 gallon buckets at Ace Hardware along with zip ties and secured the fence to the buckets that I filled with sand then tied the ends to the fence and the storage box. The fence held up just fine for the week even with several visitors stopping to play with our pup.
  
  The neighbors are great and even bumped into old friends that I haven't seen in years that were renting the house next door to us and became friends with owners to the right of us. Looking forward to our next trip!!
  
  PS...Don't forget to go on a helicopter tour to see all the Great Whites!! We counted 30 in a 5 mile strip in front of the house 40 yards offshore.
