Enjoy all Santa Cruz has to offer in this newly built three bedroom, two and a half bath home. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the largest beach in Santa Cruz County. This two story home offers a living room, family room, dining, kitchen and half bath on the first level. The second floor offers a large master bedroom with attached bath, one room with a twin over full bunk and the third room has a queen bed. There is also an additional full bath upstairs along with a laundry room. Parking for up to three vehicles provided in front of house, located at corner of three way stop. The best feature of this home is the nice deck and large fenced yard with built in seating and fire pit.

Rio Del Mar shopping center is just a half a mile up the road and offers restaurants, shopping, banks etc. Cafe Rio, Pixie Deli, Rio Bistro as well as a small market are also just a few blocks away next to the beach. The beach is just a short 8-10 min flat easy walk and offers the longest stretch of sand in Santa Cruz County. A few beach chairs and a wagon are provided.

    This is a great house with plenty of room for everyone. There is both a family room and living room. The kitchen is beautiful and the house is very updated, comfortable and clean. Location is kind of a mixed bag. It is an easy walk to the beach and a few restaurants (good!). However it is located right at a stop sign on the main street that leads to the beach, so there is lots of street noise (bad!). Overall, I would stay there again.

    We are a local family that had a flood and needed to vacate immediately. We had extenuating circumstances and Cheshire Rio Realty saved us and got us into this fabulous house right away. The house is really nice, with a neat backyard with a fire pit and fake grass, so the kids loved it. A short walk to the beach made it the perfect unexpected local “staycation.”

    We just returned after a wonderful week in Aptos. We made a decision to travel at the last minute and amazingly enough this house was available. We were so grateful. There isn't much available right now that doesn't cost a small fortune. This house was the right price! The house has been remodeled with a nice new kitchen, floors, updated bathrooms, new beds, etc. It's very functional and in a great location being only 1/2 mile from the beach. There's a great firepit in the backyard that we used almost every night. There's a TV in every room with Direct TV and a Roku TV in the family room.

    The only con to the house is that it's right on the street next to a three way intersection. So lots of cars and street noise. It was worse on a Friday night with lots of partying in the street. There is a 10 pm noise ordinance but they didn't quiet down until 1:30 am. We kept the windows open for extra air as there's no fans in the rooms which was tough when it was noisy. We ended up buying a floor fan for my son's bunk bed room to help him drown out the noise. The noise was only really bad on one night and then the other nights quieted down between 10 and 11 pm.

    Overall a super fun week and would absolutely recommend this house to friends and family.
