This is one of the largest and most elegant beach homes we offer in the Seascape area. Located across the street from the Seascape shopping center, the location is convenient to major regional events such as the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Monterey Jazz Festival, and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and Monterey Bay Aquarium, as well as scores of lively local events celebrating the art, music, food and fun unique to the Santa Cruz area. The home is minutes from Seascape Park Beach, Aptos Village Park, and the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park. This lovely, walk-to-the-beach three-bedroom home is a short drive to the several Michelin-star restaurants and a wine-growing region that boasts more than 70 wineries and 100+ vineyards.

The Space: This beach townhome offers three very large bedrooms, three baths, and a bright open floor plan. Cozy, outdoor sunroom access from the upstairs hall and primary bedroom is great for relaxing with a book or simply enjoying a quiet moment. The newly updated kitchen features a wine and coffee bar and table seating for eight people. The beautiful, sunny living room is a few steps up from the kitchen, with a gas fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating for gatherings and conversation. Additionally, you’ll find a bedroom, full bath and laundry room on the entry level. The other two bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the second level with an enclosed sunroom. Each bedroom has a flat screen television with streaming devices.

This home boasts a striking outdoor space with a large, enclosed backyard complete with a gas barbecue and a warm and inviting outdoor fireplace with seating for the whole family. This incredible home is perfect for gathering with family and friends, come for a long weekend or stay a week and take in all the sites Santa Cruz and Monterey have to offer.

  The property was a perfect size for our family get together with our children and grandchildren. The house was clean and offered everything we needed although it was a little tired in places. The beach was a short walk away and the grocery store and coffee shop in the village were very convenient.

  It was wonderful! the location is amazing, just a few minutes from a glorious beach and amazing view from the patio of a nearby resort hotel. The plaza opposite had a wonderful grocery store, alcholic beverage, some fun shopping, a work out center and a great pizza place and cafe. Quiet, safe, clean neighborhood. A few minutes by car to the freeway and about an hour from Carmel!The only minor comment is that one must be comfortable with stairs - but the kitchen, living room and beds were wonderful. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back!!

  My family stayed here for one week. We were able to explore multiple beaches, nature settings, and restaurants. The home was clean and located in a central location near many attractions. The neighbors were pleasant and there are some small shops and restaurants within walking distance. You can also walk down to the resort and watch the sunset. I may choose to come back at some time. This is a lovely property in a quiet neighborhood with many walking paths nearby. So many beaches to choose from as well. The location is not in a busy area which was nice for us. We could drive over to more touristy areas or stay in the neighborhood. The only thing we did not like was that there was no curtain or blinds on the dining room sliding door, which had us feeling exposed. The freezer also seems to freeze up once food is added even though we did not turn up the temp as noted in the home instructions. So, if you do stay here make sure to close the freezer all the way as it did stick easily after a couple days. They provided many beach necessities as well. We really appreciated the beach chairs. I would recommend to family and friends who are looking for a place to stay in Aptos. I would love to live here myself. Great house.

  This is such a lovely place, filled with comfort and simple luxury. I love the homey feeling. It doesn't feel like a vacation rental. It's 10 min to the bluff / beach with a path to get to the sand, it's across the street from tennis and swimming as well as great restaurants and a couple walkable stores. And Cheshire Rio is a fantastic property management. I've used them for many years and they're always professional and friendly. They do an excellent job.
